PrePak Well Screen
All ECT PrePak Screens provide maximum ID for larger tools and minimum OD to fit inside smaller casings.
The 3/4" size allows larger sampling equipment than will fit inside commonly used 1/2" direct push wells. Usable inside most 2" or 2-1/8" direct push casing, or can be installed in an open hole. Each section is flush threaded with an o-ring seal for assembly of longer screens. Flush threaded end plugs are available. The other sizes have the same design as the 3/4" but are made to install larger wells inside a larger hole or casing.

Stainless Steel PrePak Screen
All-Stainless Steel PrePak Screen delivers durable, trouble-free service in the harshest downwell environments, saving you 50% compared to conventional stainless steel screens.
With no plastic components, this all-stainless steel PrePak Screen is ideal for monitoring wells in aggressive groundwater environments. It can also be used as an injection well for corrosive remediation liquids. Its unique design provides more open area than conventional screens at less than half the cost of wire-wrapped screens. Available UltraFine silica sand pack cuts turbidity by orders of magnitude.

20% Open Area High Yield and Economy High Yield

With 10 times the open area and 10 times the filtration capacity, these >20% open area screens are ideal for Long Term Monitoring (LTM) of natural attenuation using low purge or passive sampling. High open area minimizes stagnant water to cut sampling time in low-yield wells. UltraFine filter pack can reduce turbidity by orders of magnitude and remove silt size particles, preventing siltation of the well.
NOTE: 20% Open Area High Yield Screens are available with nylon clamps for metals sampling applications.

PrePack Well Screen For Metals
Designed specifically for sampling metals in groundwater, the PrePak Well Screen doesn't have any metal components.
ECT has developed a new PrePak Well Screen designed specifically for sampling metals in groundwater. The new screen uses an UltraFine filter sand (120 mesh) sandwiched between two layers of food grade plastic mesh. It can substantially reduce sample turbidity by filtering out particles ten times smaller than possible with standard filter packed wells and prepack screens. No metal components are used, eliminating potential interference with metals analysis. The product is currently available in ¾-inch through 2-inch pipe sizes with outside dimensions sized to fit inside commonly available direct push drive casing. The 2-inch PrePak Metals Screen can also be installed using hollow stem augers to reduce turbidity.
