ECT's disposable Poly Bailers are constructed using 100% pure virgin HDPE polyethylene. Our HDPE polyethylene bailers have a thick, rigid construction to prevent warp or collapse during sampling.
ECT Mfg had its HDPE polyethylene bailer components tested to see if the bailer would contribute detectable PFAS compounds to exposed field samples. ECT's HDPE bailer components were submitted to an independent laboratory for analysis of the presences of 40 PFAS compounds including PFOS and PFOA. Laboratory results found that ECT's HDPE bailers were non-detect for all 40 PFAS compounds tested using EPA Laboratory Method 537M. ECT’s HDPE bailers are an unlikely source of contamination for Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) substances in field samples.
