ECT's PVC pipe products are fabricated from Type 1, Grade 1 PVC manufactured to applicable ASTM and NSF standards. Threading is performed to ASTM F480 specifications unless otherwise specified. The PVC flush threaded casing pipe and screen are manufactured to ASTM D1785. Available sizes range from 1/2" PVC up to 12" PVC. Sched 40 and sched 80 pipe are available. At ECT Mfg. we offer Johnson Screens, one of the largest manufacturers of stainless steel water well screens in the world. With a high open area, allowing for better access to the entire formation around the screen; fines and drilling fluid are removed quickly and completely, resulting in a better well development. The continuous Vee-Wire® slot design allows for lower entrance velocity of the water, reducing encrustation rates. The slot design also resists plugging and prevents sand from damaging pumps. The high open area of the Vee-Wire well screen allows for water to enter the well freely, resulting in minimal drawdown and less energy usage by a pump.
