AMS 5/8" thread soil core sampling kits provide everything necessary to collect a virtually undisturbed soil core sample in a liner.
Features:
Pound down for easy penetration; can be pounded up for tool extraction
Regular Auger open bits allow entry of small soil clumps
Mud Auger features two openings to facilitate emptying of larger or sticky soil clumps
Sand Auger features a restricted opening to prevent the loss of sampled material
Welded fitting on all extensions offer maximum strength and torque resistance
Collects relatively undisturbed soil core sample; can be easily packaged for transfer to laboratory
Liner may be extruded in the field for examination of sample
Deluxe carrying case for toughness and ease of storage and transportation
