Stainless Steel Check Valve (SS-32)
- SKU:
- SS-32
High FLow Stainless Steel Waterra foot valve (inerta pump) works with 1" OD Tubing. The High Flow System works well with deep well sampling.
The Foot Valve System is a simple, inexpensive way to sample a monitoring well in four steps.
- A Foot Valve is attached the bottom end of a length of tubing.
- The Foot Valve/Tubing combo is inserted into the well, Foot Valve first, until the valve is submerged beneath the water table to the desired pumping depth.
- The tubing is then oscillated (pulled up and then pushed down) over a short vertical range of motion either by hand or with a Tubing Actuator.
- Water builds up in the oscillating tubing until it discharges at surface.
The High Flow System is designed to be used in 2 inch wells or larger where a high pumping rate is desired or where very deep wells are encountered. This system is also an excellent well development tool in 2 inch piezometers. The High Flow system can provide lift of up to 250-300 feet in 2 inch monitoring wells and flow rates of up to 4 gallons per minute.
